My site at annamundy.com and All God’s Daughters Ministries is centered on some core values and beliefs that guide my actions and the content that I share.
Values
It is no secret that we live in a broken world. Sadly, too many seek to use the platform they have been given to tear down and sow strife and discord with each other. All God’s Daughters Ministries exists to be different and set apart as a safe space for women in the midst of the chaos of this world. As such, we strive to love and encourage one another and build each other up (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
I encourage you to use this space to be real with one another, to share life’s ups and downs, to laugh together and cry together, and to find community and seek unity around the hope of Jesus Christ. I realize that there may be times you will not fully agree with one another. While it is fine to disagree, I ask that you do so in a respectful way. Please never use this platform to spread hate to any person for any reason. We are all God’s daughters. We are all fully known and deeply loved by our Father in Heaven. Please treat one another as such.
Beliefs
My site, along with All God’s Daughters Ministries, is a Christian online women’s ministry guided by some core beliefs summed up below.
1. I believe that “in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1).
2. I believe that the Bible is the holy, inspired, and infallible Word of God. “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16).
3. I believe that we live in a broken world because of sin and that we all are in need of a Savior. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
4. I believe that our only hope is found in Jesus Christ. “Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
5. I believe that because of our sin we deserve punishment, but God offers us the free gift of salvation. “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
6. I believe that Jesus loves us so much that He broke down the wall of separation created by our sin by dying on the cross to pay for our sins so that we can have new life in Him. “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
7. I believe that salvation comes when we make a personal decision to accept Christ as our Savior. “Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).
8. I believe that anyone can receive the free gift of salvation by calling on His name. “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13).
9. I believe that we do not have to earn our way to Heaven through doing good things. God gives us the free gift of salvation because of His great mercy. “He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy…” (Titus 3:5).
10. I believe that nothing can separate us from God’s love. “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).
11. I believe that God has a plan for each and every one of us. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).
12. I believe in the imminent return of Christ and that one day “at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:10-11). Because of this, we have a very important job to do right now!
13. I believe that God has called us to shine His light in this world in order to bring glory to His name. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
14. I believe that believers are called to share the love of Jesus with all the world. “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19a).
15. I believe that we are called to love each and every person as Jesus loved. “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:34-35).
